Yu SHIBUYA, Dr. Eng. Faculty of Information and Human Science Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan

YU SHIBUYA is a professor in the Faculty of Information and Human Sciences at the Kyoto Institute of Technology, Kyoto, Japan. He received B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees in electrical communication engineering from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1985, 1987, and 1990, respectively. In 1990, he joined Kyoto Institute of Technology. Since then, he has been carrying out research in the areas of human interface, media communication, CSCW, mobile interaction, etc. From 1997 to 1998, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Kassel, Kassel, Germany.
